As I was contemplating what to enter in this week’s Big photo challenge, guess what? This really BIG, really pink, really tacky plastic flamingo came strolling through the yard.
I grabbed my camera, grabbed the shot, and done. I just love it when that happens. 🙂
Love it! 😆
Be on the lookout. She may pay you a visit. 🙂
Such a handsome bird…..wonder if it has any relatives out there?
I think she mentioned two lost siblings she was trying to locate near by.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled. 🙂
wow that is really pink! 😉

Big and pink – different as well Ron. Thanks for the smile
Thank you Jo.
this is an incredible image and should make everyone smile when they see it! thanks so much!!!! z
Thank you Lisa. One just never knows what may wander through the yard. 🙂
long ago in mississippi, my priest neighbor put a pink flamingo in our yard, and i loved it. they later said that they did it as a joke and didn’t expect me to keep it displayed in the very-proper historic neighborhood. ‘are you kidding? i love it!’ i replied. it guarded our back door entrance, and it has moved with me to latin america!
i hope that you keep your relic proudly displayed as well!
Actually, we were “flocked” while traveling a few years ago. When we returned we were greeted by a flock of 12 flamingos compliments of friends (?) Most are still with us, some now up in trees, guarding the place. Come Christmas they migrate to the front yard dressed in red bows. Tacky lives! 🙂
this is a great story! your friends surely had a great time planning that surprise, and each year they proudly smile when they see the flock in christmas attire!
🙂 Thanks for the laugh Ron.
You are welcome Gary. Thank you for visiting.
Loving that pink flamingo. 🙂
Thanks. I will be sure to tell her. 🙂
